Introducing the AS Coursework

We started off getting to know how the cameras work. In the lesson we saw how the cameras are fixed onto the tripod and positioned to shoot in which ever angle needed. There after we started to use the video cameras and digital cameras, we took pictures of still images in our groups to practice different angles and also to get use to using the equipment well.

In the next lesson we started off by looking at the mark scheme and important information we needed to know about the coursework. In the mark scheme we learnt what exactly the examiners expect us to produce in order to get a high mark. We also watched some example clips of previous pieces of work, this gave us a good idea off the standard and concept of the whole 'thriller' clip.

Lastly we use the macs in our groups to start using the imovie maker, through this software we are able to edit, join clips and add much more to it. We started off by creating small clips of members of our group giving their own introduction and their job towards the coursework and also a type of promotion to gain support. By making this video and putting it together gave the group a good understanding of how the imovie softare works.
